Google many times alerts users about such apps which can prove to be dangerous for their smartphone. The company has recently removed 29 apps from its app store. According to the company, these dangerous apps were installing adware in the phone. If you also use these apps, delete them immediately.
According to the research by the Intelligence team of White Ops, these apps have been found out. Nowadays most people use apps according to their convenience. But, sometimes this application can also become a disadvantage for you.
29 such apps have been detected in 'Chartreuse Blur' investigation by the Intelligence team. Which used to install adware in users' phones. Blur is mentioned here because most of these are photo editing apps which offer blur feature. These Android apps were showing out-of-context (OOC) ads, so that they could not be easily detected.
These malicious apps also included a 'Square Photo Blur' app. Whose way of working was checked by the Intelligence team. The icon used to disappear after the app was installed in the phone. And the option of 'Open' was not available on the Play Store as well. As soon as users installed these apps, their icons disappeared from the phone's app drawer. In this way, users were not able to delete apps easily and they used to work in the background
